JetBrains has a program to suport software development. The program description goes, "JetBrains supports non-commercial open source projects by providing core project contributors with a set of best-in-class developer tools free of charge." The program is explained in the page (here).
THIS DOES NOT MEAN ENDORSEMENT by nor AFFILIATION with JetBrains. However, recently, JetBrains granted a subscription under the license for Live Caption Analytics (LCA), and for LCA only. This support for Live Caption Analytics is indispensable for the community to develop new long-awaited features and improve the current ones. Under the terms, the community uses and will use a full-fledged set of tools solely for the development of LCA.
The community has only one designer and software engineer, me, currently, and is looking for collaborators that actively participate the development and are committed to abiding with the license agreement between JetBrains and me. Your email to join the team is always welcome and encouraged. Let us explore what we can do with the technology to liberate us, learners. The code is primarily written in JavaScript and Python, but it is not limited to those two major programming languages that have been used so far.
Finally, I appreciate JetBrains support for diverse communities and support to grant me a subscription. This means a lot to the community.
